I started my career as a web programmer but quickly moved into project management, technology management and then into strategy and eventually, executive management of interactive marketing teams and business development.

I've built and managed relationships with many fortune 500 companies in the consumer electronics, media and entertainment, retail, financial services, insurance, healthcare and other verticals.

As GM and Practice Director, I've led teams of up to 40 including direct P&L responsibility, sales, marketing, engineering and creative. I've managed 200% growth in services revenue at both of my last companies with great track record of on-time and on budget delivery to satisfied clients.

SuperNova Productions, Inc. is a privately held medical education and interactive agency providing strategic marketing solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotech and life sciences industry as well as e-marketing solutions to other industries.

Multimedia Solutions is a privately held e-business strategy and development firm located in Edgewater NJ. MSC provides customer centric digital solutions to leading companies. 

 

Chief Technology Strategist                                                         February 2004-February 2005
Provide strategic consulting services to clients. Manage strategic partnerships and alliances. Support business development activities such as capability presentations, solution visioning, proposal writing and proposal presentation. Project effort estimation and pricing for fixed fee engagements. Provide training and mentoring to all sales professionals. Set the future technical strategy direction for the company.  Report directly to the CEO.

  • Initiated and cultivated strategic relationships with Microsoft, IBM and OpenText resulting in over $1M in revenues

  • Founded and managed a new strategic consulting practice that generated 10% of the company’s revenues. Converted over 70% of strategic engagements into projects. Established strategic consulting methodology, standards and procedures.

Chief Technology Officer                                                                            1999-January 2004

Managed custom software development lifecycle from definition to successful implementation. Led a team of 15 analysts, architects, DBAs, FE developers, BE developers, network engineers and quality control specialists. Managed all network, security and hardware infrastructure. Reported directly to the president.

  • Established the technology practice and in 4 years increased revenues from technology services from 20% to 70% of company revenues.

  • Instituted development standards and methodologies: UML driven definition methodology and RUP based development methodology.

  • Defined, architected and oversaw the successful implementation of over 50 technology solutions for top tier companies. Major engagements include:

    • NursingCenter.com – the world’s largest nursing portal.

    • 4 multilingual public sites and dealer extranet for Kyocera Mita

    • Financial portal for Alger.com

    • Global site development for Ticona.com

    • Implementation of Toshiba.com and content management tools

  • Instilled a culture of diversity, accountability, quality and outstanding results that resulted in low turnover and high customer satisfaction levels.



Intel Corp Development Center, Haifa, Israel                                     March 1996 – August 1999

Intel Microprocessors is a $25B global company that is the world leader in microprocessor design and development. The microprocessor design center in Haifa Israel is at the forefront of Intel technology spearheading innovations such as the MMX chipset and Centrino mobile technology.

 

Web applications development manager

Managed the development life-cycle of all Intranet applications. Translated business needs into web applications. Established standards for internet development and trained all departments in web technologies. Reported to the Director of Information Systems.

  • Designed and developed content and document management systems that powered the first Intel intranet in Israel. This system’s success led to responsibility for implementation and training in other Intel sites in the world.

  • Designed and developed custom intranet applications.
